A young couple (Dennis and Rita) decide to place their secluded lake house on a vacation rental app, needing a major life change to save their rocky marriage.When the couple returns home early, they find that their new tenant (Kate) is gone, leaving only their belongings as well as vague and increasingly strange clues. Dennis and Rita have little idea on where Kate might have gone. That's until Kate's boyfriend (Chance) mysteriously shows up not only terrified by the events he'd witnessed in the house, but with a warning about what's to follow up.
